Kehl Homes Sunday Light Conversation and my spoiled little dog

Today I came to a harsh reality.  My dog is spoiled.  Not only does she get a custom built home, but pampered as well.  And there’s other issues.

Lets start with her friend, the duck.  Her favorite toy and the fact that she doesn’t realize she has had at least six of these ducks in her lifetime.  She maims one and we replace it with the exact duplicate.  Although she is a herding dog, she pretends to be a hunting dog sometimes and tosses it into the air, grabs it, and shakes the living crap out of it while clamping down on the neck.  We laugh and she does it again.

Another way I pamper our dog is her door to her dog house.  Winter is coming and for the snow regions this means preparing the dog house as well as the yards.  We always buy those plastic doors every fall for the dog house for days that she wants to snuggle up with her duck in the warmth of her home.  I make sure we have a fresh fleece crate pad for her and she is set.
Although I make the point here that I pamper our dog way to much, she’s pretty good at pampering herself.  When she comes in for the evenings, we have always set a crate pad out for her, but just like other dogs, she prefers the couch.  In the mornings, I find her in her favorite spot, using the arm rest as a pillow.  And of course, the duck is always next to her.
