With a new home comes new flower gardens.  Shopping for shrubs, greenery, and rocks that fit who you are.  Some gardeners purchase plants for minimal work gardens and others go to the opposite side of the scale for those beautiful english gardens.

It’s always exciting to plant new vegetation and pamper it while you watch them become established growth in your yard.  Whether you choose annuals or perennials, it’s a new life that gardeners have the opportunity to help nurture into adulthood.  Of course in some ways it’s better than children because we don’t have rebellious teenagers to deal with for a couple of hours a week.

Flower and vegetable gardens are my place of tranquility.  Where I can go and the world does not.  Not only is it serene, but it is my therapist.  I can clear my mind and come out of my flowers feeling whole again.  Sun shine, cool morning air, and quiet time.
